A stainless steel refrigerator turned into a carbon steel weak box by carbon stepper, carbon steel inventor Steve Leong said.
“We made the refrigerator, the first carbon steel refrigerator we made.
It’s got a couple of small components, a vacuum pump and an air compressor, a compressor that sucks up carbon dioxide, and a carbon heater,” he said.
It’s a tiny appliance.
It takes only two seconds to make.
It uses only a small amount of energy.
And that’s all we need to make carbon steel.
It costs just $1.00 an hour.
Leong said his company has been selling carbon steel cookware and other carbon steel products online for about two years.
He sells the fridge to businesses that use carbon steel as an ingredient in carbon-free cookware.
He said he was surprised when he first saw it online.
“I thought, wow, this is something I’ve never seen before,” he told ABC News.
“But it’s really quite cool.
It is a huge improvement in the quality of carbon steel, and the efficiency of the carbon steel.”
In order to make the fridge, Leong first needed a vacuum to suck up carbon-dioxide.
Then, the air compressor needs to be connected to the vacuum pump to suck carbon dioxide into the refrigerator.
Finally, the vacuum pulls carbon dioxide out of the fridge and into a metal container.
Leo says the fridge is designed to be used as a carbon-neutral kitchen appliance.
He also says it can be made into a freezer, or even a container that can hold food.
The fridge is currently in the process of being made into an open-air fridge by Leong and his team at Leong Steel Ltd.
“It’s not yet ready for the market, but we’ve been working with the local community and building out our product.
It will be ready to go next month,” he added.”
Now, it’s just about getting this product onto the market and making it as affordable as possible,” he continued.”
For us, this will be a very cost-effective way to bring carbon steel back into the marketplace.”
